Turning Analytics From “Nice to Have” to “Must Have”
Learn how to decrease your audit testing investment by using technology to run analytics in this 2 hour training CPE = 2
Analytics should turn manual audit tests from a $1.00 investment to a $.01 investment (meaning you can do much more auditing with less resources), since that they can be run on a regular basis, without much effort. Companies owe it to themselves to establish and optimize a set of analytic tests they can use. Often organizations have difficulty enabling these effective tools.
In this training, we will explain some of the most common obstacles hindering analytics while providing simple best practices to move your audit department forward in using more analytical tests.
Specific learning objectives include:
- Review results from a variety of online and in-person surveys focused on analytics over the past decade
- Extract for presentation analytic best practices being deployed by top performing organizations
- Explain the need for an effective culture around the analytics program to bolster the technology implementation
- Discuss the varying types of technology alternatives, outlining their relative strengths and place at the analytics table
