This course title says it all. In the training we start by simply exploring each option in the Microsoft Excel Pivot Table Tools and then move to more advanced Power Query and Power Pivot topics. We hope to quell any concerns in your development and use of Pivot Tables while also showing you some new tricks to enhance your audits.
Please note that Excel 2010 or greater is required to follow along and make use of the Power Pivot/Query functionality in the downloadable files.
Specific learning objectives include:
- Create basic PivotTables using a variety of provided data templates
- Be able to make use of Excel’s entire array of Pivot Table Tools
- See how to complete specific audit tests in a variety of areas using Pivot Tables
- Learn how to obtain an entire data set for a Pivot Table that dynamically recalculates itself as you add data
- Understand when and how to make use of Power Query and Power Pivot to extend your analysis beyond the million-row limit of Excel
