This training session discusses the keys to building effective teams. Topics include the stages of team development, the effect of change on high-performing teams, and the key attributes of high-performing teams.

- Be able to distinguish team building as a process rather than a single event.
- Be able to identify the conditions (participative leadership, alignment on purpose, shared responsibility, etc.) under which team-building successfully occurs.

Jim's contributions to the profession were recognized by the IIA (2007 Bradford Cadmus award) and the Association of Local Government Auditors (Lifetime Achievement Award). In addition to the IIA, he is a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
